    About YRYC

    The York River Yacht Club is a non-profit organization formed in 1985 for the following purposes: To promote and encourage yachting on the York River, the Chesapeake Bay, and on adjacent waters. To promote a medium of social and recreational fellowship among owners of power and sailing yachts in the York River area. To promote safety, boating education and etiquette, and responsible marine stewardship.

    Our membership is made up of boaters from a number of area marinas, including York River Yacht Haven,  Perrindise Marina, and Wormley Creek Marina.
