On Saturday, November 9, the York River Yacht Club honored this year’s racing winners at its annual Racing Awards Dinner.   Top honors went to Solstice and her skipper, Jim Bordeaux as 2019 Champion!

Racers were recognized for speed and excellence for spinnaker and non-spinnaker fleets and for the 2019 York River Cup, the club’s premiere racing event.  Other awardees included:

Non-Spinnaker: 

• 1^st place:  Elixir
• 2^nd place:  Celebrate 
• 3^rd place:  Camden
• 4^th place:  Down Home Blues
• 5^th place:  Macafinn 

Spinnaker:      

• 1^st place:  Solstice 
• 2^nd place: Three S2ges
• 3^rd place:  Dream On
• 4^th place:  Delphinus
• 5^th place:  Hawk
• 6^th place:  Fenway
