Anchors Aweigh for Labor Day

Everyone is looking forward to the club’s annual trip across the Bay. This year’s trip has a full itinerary and two fleets!

Friday, September 3rd

Bon Voyage! Fleet 1 club boats head out around 10 o’clock
- Arrival Check-in by 3 PM Cape Charles Town Docks
- Low Tide: 1:03 PM, High Tide 7:19PM, Sunset 7:29 PM
- Hail Dockmaster on Channel 16
Commodore’s Cocktail Hour 6pm YRYH for Fleet 2
- Group Dinner (Scoots BBQ) before, give RC’s order & payment. Either a couple of us go pickup or maybe they will deliver!

Saturday, September 4th

Anchors Aweigh! Fleet 2 club boats head out around 10 o’clock
- Arrival Check-in by 3 PM Cape Charles Town Docks
- Low Tide: 1:53 PM High Tide: 8:04 PM Sunset: 7:28 PM
- Hail Dockmaster on Channel 16
Barrier Island Tour for those that signed up. Meet at Cape Charles Town Dock Bath House no later than 2:45 PM. We will meet a taxi for transportation to the boat.
Music in the Park! 7-9 PM Central Park, 217 Peach St
The English Channel – Extraordinary hits of the mid 1960’s and 1970’s…classic rock, pop
- Food trucks will be on site or bring your own picnic
Docktails – after the concert – Dock TBD

Sunday, September 5th

Informal Breakfast Nibbles and Breakfast Cocktails
Leisure Day in Cape Charles! Enjoy the town shops, beach, brewery and restaurants!
4:00-5:00 PM Yacht Club Happy Hour Social at Cape Charles Distillery. Outdoor lounge area reserved for our members & guests only! Pay as you go
6:00 PM – Pot Luck Dinner on the Dock (don’t forget to list what you are bringing on SignUpGenius!)
