Shake off the cobwebs, brave the cold, and come out for YRYC’s first event of 2007! The annual New Year’s Day Race will begin at 1330 on Monday, 1 January. We will use a pursuit start format on a triangular course. Under the pursuit start, the slowest-rated boat begins first with others following at specific times determined by their ratings, and the first to cross the finish line wins. In order to assign start times, please confirm your participation no later than 1200, Saturday, 30 December. If your crew is too incapacitated to sail, let the Race Captain know and we’ll try to help find others.
