2007 York River Cup

The annual York River Cup will be held Saturday, 16 June 2007. This is YRYC's flagship racing event, and this year all proceeds will benefit the Watermen’s Museum in Yorktown, VA. The race takes place near the mouth of the York River, with the skipper’s meeting at the York River Yacht Club’s clubroom starting at 1000 and the post-race party and dinner taking place at the Watermen’s Museum itself.

Racing Registration Bean Dinner

Reminder to all YRYC Racers -- the registration bean dinner is this Wednesday 4 April at 1800 in the YRYC clubroom.  Printed copies of the 2007 YRYC Racing Rules and Guidelines will be provided; please come prepared to complete registration materials, pay the registration fee, and sign up for RC and bean dinner dates. Crew are welcome to attend.

2007 Cruise Calendar

Remember, it only takes two boats to start a cruise. Mention it out loud and others will say “That sounds good, I’m going too!” Last year we had great participation from both sailors and power boaters alike and I’m sure that will continue. If you are new to cruising (as we all were at one time) and would like some mentoring to get started, please be in touch. There is no finer way to spend a weekend, a week, or longer, than cruising with your friends and fellow boaters.
